Product Description

Pressure Sustaining and Relief Valve is a hydraulically operated, pilot- controlled, modulating valve designed to maintain constant upstream pressure within close limit. This valve can be used for pressure relief, pressure sustaining, and back pressure function in a by-pass system. In operation, the valve is actuated by line pressure through a pilot control system, opening fast to maintain steady line pressure but closing gradually to prevent surges. Operation is completely automatic and pressure settings maybe easily changed by adjusting screw on top of the pilot.

07.Operating principle
The relief/holding valve is composed of the hydraulic control valve main valve and relief guide valve, controlling the opening and closing of the main valve through the opening and closing of the guide valve.
The relief guide valve is connected to the front end of the main valve through a copper pipe to sense the pressure in the front end.When the pressure at the front end is greater than the set pressure value of the valve, the pressure relief guide valve is opened and the upper chamber of the main valve is drained outward to open the pressure relief valve.When the pressure at the front end is less than the set pressure value of the valve, the pressure relief guide valve will be closed and the upper chamber of the main valve will stop draining water to the outside, so that the main valve will gradually close and achieve zero leakage.The valve setting pressure value can be adjusted through the adjusting screw on the relief guide valve.
